The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired third baseman Josh Bell from the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday, sending cash to Baltimore in exchange for the young player. Bell is in his third year in the league, having originally been drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2005 amateur draft. He was traded to the Orioles in 2009 and made his debut in the majors the following year, playing 53 games in total and batting only .214
